2 Lindt EXCELLENCE A Touch of Sea Salt dark chocolate bars
1/2 cup uncooked popcorn kernels
1 cup cashew halves and pieces
1/4 cup oil (If popping in a pan)
DESCRIPTION / INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Test if oil is hot enough by dropping in a couple kernels. If they spin or pop, your oil is ready. (If it smokes, it is too high.) Add popcorn and top pot with lid, leaving a side propped to let out steam. Shake pan every 30 seconds or so to rotate kernels in the oil until finished popping. If you have an air popper, disregard this step and prepare popcorn as directed. You could also use microwave popcorn if you like.
2. Pour popcorn and cashews onto a wax paper lined baking sheet and spread out evenly.
3. Chop chocolate bars into small pieces and melt over low heat using a double broiler.
4. Drizzle melted chocolate over popcorn and cashews. Allow chocolate to harden before serving.
